Like a Rock.
Well, my 360 E74’d yesterday. I rang up Microsoft and they’re sending a box for me to send it in. Apart from me being pissed off, I began to wonder why the xbox 360 was so unreliable. In replacement, I whipped out my original modded xbox, and I can’t believe how fucking solid this thing is. Seriously, all jokes about the size aside, It’s built like a house. How could Microsoft manage to fail at creating a console with BETTER HARDWARE? And then I realized… because Microsoft is almost strictly a software company (hence, MicroSOFT) they have no experience building a next gen console. The first xbox was a walk in the park for them, they built the thing like a PC, and it worked for them. But when the time came for them to step into the realm of advanced graphics and HD gaming, they didn’t know what to do. The original Xbox was always the best in terms of graphics in the sixth generation of consoles, but in the rush to keep that image and get their console out first, they forgot that they had to make the damn thing WORK.
Congratulations Microsoft, for making me seriously consider a PS3.
